Epic Journey Continues

Have you ever really read the Ramayana? I don't mean just for a class or whatever. Like seriously read/contemplated the Ramayana. There's a pretty good longer version by Ramesh Menon. It's around 685 pages but it's a lot better than the little shortened ones. It really is a good story. Sometimes I feel like Rama (an extremely reprehensible version) in exile. This DUI has made me feel cut off from society. That sounds so dramatic, but for real, haha.

I found internet on the porch again. So much more convenient than biking to McDonalds! Oh blog, I have a new idea. So Leah has to go back and finish her last semester at UNCA in the spring which means we are moving back to Asheville (bleh) this winter. As you well know, biking has become a way of life for me. It has transformed from a necessity into a hobby and a passion. Well, I have this idea for a business. It's not a new, innovative idea. It's an environmentally friendly spin on an age old industry. I actually have more than an idea; I've got a fully developed business plan. Haha! Anyway, it's too far out to let you in on the details.

I HAVE A BED! We've been sleeping on a couch since the third week in July (special thanks to B and D for moving it in) and before that we slept like wretches on our lovely hardwood floors. Today my grandma brought over a bed and I am so excited. I'm also drinking Heineken which is a step above the Bud Light that I've been forced to drink and I feel like it is my birthday or Halloween or something wonderful. I'm the swill guzzling, pedal pushing avatar of Vishnu, by god.

I have a kitty cat. She's snowy white and as graceful and delicate as a swan. I think she's a little blind or dumb or something, because she's not good at catching bugs. I thought cats were supposed to be expert moth snatchers, but this one needs some practice.

God. That is all. Nothing else has happened in my life. The car is getting fixed soon and a trip up the mountain to Boy and Friend's is definitely in order. Maybe there will be something good to tell after that. Perhaps a joint blog...
