Darlings! Long time, no blog. How are you?! Fantastic I hope. I figured I would give an update on my life. Hm. DUI. Well I somehow managed to get the minimum amount of hours for the AA classes. Twenty hours, and a modest total of 400 bucks. I was also given a copy of my driving record. LOL. No it's not funny. I have three speeding tickets where I exceeded the limit by over 20 mph as well as a few minor ones. I've been in two (reported) accidents and totalled three cars. I'm an efficient wrecking ball. I've had a couple seat belt tickets and we can't forget my most recent violation, a DUI. Anyway, whatever. Hindsight is almost always 20/20. At least I have never used a motor vehicle as a weapon or anything like that. And when April rolls around I won't have too much of an opportunity to do that for a year or so. Thank the lord. I am also planning a new adventure. Oh you guys are going love this one. As you have probably already figured out, the Navy has yet to call me. I'm not the only one either. But that makes perfect sense considering the cuts that are threatening military spending. I'm not saying that I disagree with austerity in the least. Anyway, so I've had to find a new destination. A destination with low unemployment, rising housing prices, low cost of living, and a quality urban environment. I'll give you three guesses... Give up? TEXAS. HA! This time I will be venturing to a place where I know no one. A place that is not particularly cool with my lifestyle choices. But, even so, a place where I have a real shot at creating a positive foundation for the rest of my 20's. I will not be setting forth alone this time and I have already told my parents of my plan to move and they are supportive! I have decided to go about it in a more responsible way. Avoiding accountability was necessary the first time, but this time I have a bit of wisdom under my belt and I intend to put it to good use. Gaining the moral support of my familiy is crucial in that it allows me to openly prepare for the move. Sneaking is stressful and inconvenient! I have done extensive research on the city that I have chosen. As I mentioned before, I've taken into account everything from employment rates to major economic indicators (housing prices) to utility costs and gas prices. I've also examined the industry of the area and it is largely relevant to my experience and work history. I am on a strict financial diet that should let me squeeze out a lot of extra income to add to my Detailed Texas Budget. Yes, that is the title of a spreadsheet I've put together. I'm also attempting to find secondary employment to cushion the savings account I've designated for the big show. YAY! So exciting. Rodney, my '97 Izusu Rodeo, will fit in wonderfully in the southwestern ambiance. I forgot to tell you that I got another car after totalling Laverne. Unimportant! Anyway, I will with hold the greater details, such as time, specific place, and the other member of the moving party, in order to have material for later entries. My life is so boring. You have no idea. Anyway I'm at work right now. There is nothing to do. But blog. Blog my happy little heart out. I should probably get back to pretending to have shit to do. Take care, sweethearts!
