Pans

I saw Iron & Wine ANNNNDDDD Joanna Newsom!!! I wasn't planning on seeing Joanna, but sometimes the universe rewards those who are good and decent. I would have to say that the Joanna Newsom show was better than the Iron & Wine one. First of all, it wasn't sold out, so there was a little bit of room to breathe. Second, she didn't fuck up the words to her songs. Not that I think it's bad to fuck up words necessarily. I mean I feel privileged to have seen Sam Beam fuck up his words. That is awesome. Only seeing Cat Power fuck up words would make me happier. But you know how I think the sun rises and sets in her. Joanna was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The music was completely flawless and I was filled with unimaginable joy. It made me very happy. Usually I go to shows and I am happy because I am having fun. But this time I was happy because her sweet melodies flooded my soul and captured my heart. Lol, but for real it was great. There were much better people at that show too. A lot of funny gays. Y'all know how I love them funny gays. Oh my god. Jamie just showed me a video taken at the Redbone Willies bluegrass fest we went to. It is all three of the HungrySisters dancing in broad daylight, clearly some level of drunk, having a damn good time. I immediately exploded with laughter. I mean the quality of the video is perfect and it's not like the cameraman just happened to get them in the video while he was taping the performers. He pans across the crowd to their spot on the sidelines and zooms the fuck in. I would post it but I'm way too lazy for that. Last night was another black out drunk night. Hell, what night isn't these days?! Success. This week has been a great success. I am excited to be alive. I will probably party with Boy and his friend tonight. As well as my sister. Maybe at some point Boy and I can collect ourselves and write one of those uncommon drunk posts. It's high time. Anyway BYE!
